Washington, DC – Manage Your Damn Money, LLC and Hamiltonian Artists are proud to announce its collective, inaugural Money Music Night, scheduled to take place on Tuesday, September 1st at Hamiltonian Gallery in Washington, DC at 6:30 pm. This free engagement will showcase a panel featuring musical performances, visual art presentations and discussion about how artists and entrepreneurs can do better with the money they earn.

“Hamiltonian is thrilled to parter with MYDM! Financial self-advocacy is key for all artist and creative entrepreneurs, today. It doesn’t help that talking about money is still tabu," said Program and Development Director, Angie Goerner. "With this event, we hope to generate a real conversation about what it’s like to budget on an erratic income and share among DC’s creative community ideas on financial opportunities and innovative business models in the arts.

MYDM's Money Music Night will feature Washington, DC based performing artist Justin Trawick, visual artist Kathryn Zaremba and finance professional Kendell Bryant. Panelist will share their perspective on pursuing art-based careers as well as strategies to improve their financial standing. Over 40 members of the DC community have RSVPed for the event.

"Money Music Night is our first collective effort to commune around ideas of what it takes to pursue an artistic career, become an entrepreneur and improve one's personal finances and understanding of money," said MYDM CEO, Ben Carter. "We have an incredible panel that will bring great insight into what it takes to survive as an artist and how people can tune into where they can make improvements with their finances."
