Washington, DC – Manage Your Damn Money, LLC is proud to announce the submission of its video contest entry into the "My Big Show" TV Series Pitch Competition. The competition is being held by Howard University's public television station WHUT and is seeking television show concepts to compete to be produced for air in 2015.
"This is an incredible opportunity being provided to those with film talents and an idea at one of the most storied universities in the country," said MYDM CEO, Ben Carter. "We think Manage Your Damn Money is an incredible concept and has the potential to be an incredible and fresh programming offering on WHUT."
The contest has several stages including an open voting period for supporters of show concepts. Official competition judges will also contribute to the selection of show concept finalists. Finalists will be asked to complete a three to five minute pilot episode. The grand prize is the support of WHUT and producers to create three, ready-for-air episodes of the winning show idea.
"We're excited for this opportunity and will call on those who know and love Manage Your Damn Money to vote and make their voice heard when the voting period begins," said Carter. "I'm hopeful the judges and those at WHUT see the great potential in Manage Your Damn Money to innovate the personal finance education space."
