Washington, DC – Manage Your Damn Money, LLC (MYDM) is proud to join the 39th Annual Convention and Career Fair for the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) at the Sheraton Hotel in Boston, MA. The convention, scheduled for July 30 - August 3 will be attended by MYDM CEO, Ben Carter.

“I’m honored to have the chance to join so many accomplished and well known journalism and media professionals this week,” said Carter. “NABJ is a place where the history and tenets of great journalism are passed on from professional peers and we’re excited to participate in that exchange.”

NABJ’s annual conference is the largest gathering of Black journalists in the country. Young and seasoned media executives, students, public relations and journalism professionals join every year to recognize excellence in journalism and media, as well as to network and swap stories about the field. MYDM will use the official conference hashtag, #NABJ14 on social media to push its campaign, “MYDM @ #NABJ14”.

“As an enterprise centered around the collection of our financial experiences and stories, MYDM is also a journalistic enterprise at it’s core. We ask questions to understand how people can arrive at a better and more empowered sense of their finances,” said Carter. “We’re excited to join so many individuals who do this type of work at well respected institutions and media companies and fully expect to take the lessons we learn and implement them into our work at Manage Your Damn Money.”
